The COVID-19 amnesty came into effect in Moscow on Wednesday, June 1. From this day on, citizens can apply for compensation at public service centers for already paid fines for violating epidemiological restrictions during the pandemic, according to the portal of the mayor and the government of Moscow.

Residents of Moscow, guests of the capital, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs can return funds, provided that the fine was issued in the city. You can apply for compensation before the end of this year in all metropolitan MFCs.

When applying, you must have a passport, a resolution on the imposition of a fine, confirmation of its payment, and for representatives of legal entities – a power of attorney. In case of loss of the decision on the fine, a copy can be obtained from the institution that issued it.

Earlier, on May 25, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced an amnesty for covid fines.
