It seems He is saying that the US Military knows the US has lost…has no appetite for direct conflict with Russia ( has nothing to gain and a lot to lose ) BUT the Neocons in the State department and CIA and Congress etc Are Delusional that they MUST win at any cost
If people would wake up, they would find that we are in a unique position to attain peace in the world. If China or Russian were to attack the U.S. they would lose. If the U.S. were to attack either China or Russia, they would lose. If China or Russia were to attack each other, they would both lose. We essentially have a balance in military power. The only rational course of action is peaceful relations, trade and prosperity. The U.S. should climb down from its high horse so that course of action might be given a chance. The American people have for decades called for an end to foreign wars. It’s time they demanded it in no uncertain terms. In other words, bring all the troops home, or you don’t win elections.
As Sundance at CTH notes regularly, Congress isn’t in control. Nor is potus. Its the 4th branch of govt that runs the show. No one seems to have found a way to rein them in. Ike warned. JFK tried. Its been there all along. Even if the debt ceiling were not raised, I believe the Dec appropriations bill prefunded the military. While you are correct FGC that they could say No, when have they ever done so? I hope they can impress upon the Neocons not just that they don’t want to but that they won’t. The problem is even if the neocons understand we won’t go head to head with Russia directly they will just keep this proxy war going indefinitely.
PD – imo this is the EXACT problem that exists throughout the developed world –> “No one seems to have found a way to rein them in.” Yet they openly proclaim their objective — the destruction of the “USA Republic” experiment and installation of a fascist world government run by the elite, Aristocracy and Corporations combined.
Of course there is a way. The answer is the breakup of America. All funding for the three letter federal agencies would come to an end. Even the Federal Reserve would cease to exist. Problem solved. Unfortunately that also happens to be the goal of the globalists. So you still lose even if you win. One way or other it appears that the US will be dissolved into several regions if the political shenanigans keep accelerating and borders remain open. Its getting harder and harder to read the tea leaves though so there is no telling whats in store. But if a nuclear war with Russia was an essential part of the plan it looks like the rulers of this world need a new program since Russia is not playing ball. Guess that leaves China to defeat America and bring in the NWO.
