Is Your Mask Giving You Cancer and Brain Damaging your Kids ?

   We can now add OSHA to the list of groups and organizations that have told us masks do not work to prevent virus infections. The list also includes the WHO, CDC, and Dr Fauci himself among many others plus a lineup of respirologist luminaries that have weighed in on the topic over the past nine months. Finally, the companies that manufacture the masks assert they do not offer protection against viruses. It does not get more convincing than that.

   Folks, our problem here is that the majority of the public believe masks protect them. They believe because the medical authorities, Governors, Mayors and Provincial Ministers of health have told them to wear masks for their own protection. In some regions you can draw heavy fines for not wearing masks. So political people and the lying media are pushing the narrative and drowning out the truth.

   The Health authorities are lying too. Such a serious breach of trust has rarely ever been seen in Canada before. We have an obvious agenda in play but it can be broken with an appeal to facts if people are prepared to listen. But if we cannot convince the average person to take off that mask using the strong evidence we already have on mask innefectiveness then there is little hope of changing the direction we are going.

   Personally, I think getting people to change is a doomed effort because the sheep are already entrenched in their thinking and cannot be turned around. Just try it. I have and boy was that ever a waste of my time. The person I was talking to had all the TV answers and media facts at their ready disposal and were completely unswayed by the truth. That’s the power of the Tube!

   And the deaths…look at all the dying! OMG, its terrible.

       You know Spock, that is so true but I have a really hard time accepting it because its evidence of how weak and easily manipulated some people are. I live by a code of not lying to myself. If I make a mistake I own up to it quickly. Long experience has taught me it does not pay to justify positions that are wrong.

       Almost all traders will agree with that sentiment. There is no simply coin in lying to ourselves when the facts differ from our beliefs. And any of us who want to hold fast to myth will go broke fast in the market. The diffences between how traders think and the rest of the population is a gulf as deep as the Mariana trench sometimes.

       Believing in masks against overwhelming evidence that proves they are useless is about the same as holding Nortel from 600 back to zero. LOL (I actually knew a guy who did that. He went from millions to nothing before he could admit his mistake).

   Wearing these medical masks for long periods can cause lung cancer.

   Wow.

   So it looks like either:

   1. They know that, but choose to ignore it, as it achieves certain longer term objectives, such as reducing populations, particularly the more vulnerable, who are a burden on social security; or

   2. They are ignorant of the dangers.

     If they can convince the majority to keep obediently wearing masks then it will be a snap to convince them all to get vaccinated. These two ideas go hand in hand. “They” will NEVER relent on mask wearing because it suits the agenda. And so far its working. If the public keeps agreeing then everyone will eventually be vaccinated in order to get the mask off again. This is psychological warfare (and the vaccine agenda is winning sorry to say).

       Let me put this another way. Unless there is a competing narrative that is as plausible and convincing as the virus narative then nothing will change what is already in motion. The people who have started this trend are extremely clever and they obviously know how such dynamics play out over time by the numbers.

       What we are witnessing is a form of madness that used to be called a “panic” and these kinds of events are very troublesome for ordinary people. But like all panics this one will not end until it has gone through its entire life cycle, peaked and dropped. We can chart it if we have the time using compliance numbers or some similar measure.

       But let there be no mistake that this trend has a life of its own at this stage. You may as well try bottling the Niagra at the edge of falls as try to reverse course on masking policy now that its begun and the public has accepted it. Bodies in motion will stay in motion and not be altered in their direction until they are met with another body of equal or opposite mass. In other words, its hopeless unless you can somehow convince billions of people that wearing masks is incorrect.

       Does this site have billions of readers? Of course not! Ha ha ha….sorry boys. We are stuck with the political masking narrative until such time as everyone has been jabbed with a vaccine and has given away their freedom. By then we will be dealing with Zombies and there will be no going back again EVER.

       Just telling it like it is.

   Even if so many didn’t just stupidly BELIEVE what they are told by govt. and media, the govenors of all these states MAKE you wear them to go into any business. Need actual lawsuits presenting the medical facts to get rid of these damn mandates.

   Very good article. A different sort of perspective on this by long-time editor of a health and safety publication. I never thought of the simple fact that wearing a mask exposes you to the mask materials themselves, some of which have a mild risk for short term exposure but a major risk for long term exposure.

   On the topic of changing human behaviour… I would add that from my experience I have realized that people act on attitudes not ideology. Attitudes are a bit more emotional and complex than ideas but are formed from our reflection on ideas. Attitude is how we operate, what makes us tick while knowledge and ideas are merely intellectual influences on our attitudes. We have a rushed and impatient attitude when driving until we remind ourselves and reflect on the fact that getting in an accident will make us extremely late and cost us a lot more than trying to avoid being 15 mins late for whatever it is we’re going to. It takes time and practice to change attitudes even when we discover that they’re irrational or wrong, or stupid. We should eat better, exercise more, spend more time with family and friends and be nicer to everyone in general but that’s a slow change too, isn’t it?

   Traders are more disciplined because the market punishes them quite quickly when they’re wrong. In politics and personal life in general, there’s not cost to being wrong and so people aren’t afraid of being wrong unlike traders who have learned that for every wrong position there’s a right one and the loss in one is the same as the gain in the other.

     Well said TimH. We do need to get hold of our rational mind. Thus far most of the reaction here (and elsewhere) has been emotion based. We sense the betrayal of trust: that a manipulation is taking place. That an improbable agenda is forming right in front of our eyes and yet there is alomost nothing we can do to stop it because it has the support of the majority of people.

     Go to the internet and pull up photos of any country in the world right now (except China) and you will see people wearing masks as they go about their daily business. As I have already mentioned several times, they are under curfew and social distancing even in far flung and poverty stricken places like Ethiopia and Kenya in Africa.

     Virtually no part of the planet has been granted an exemption. There is nowhere to run. This presents a huge dilemma for anyone who wanted to opt out and choose personal freedom over what some believe is a medical tyranny. The masks are not precisely that though. They are merely a means to an end. In retrospect, the idea of masking was not even part of the agenda in the early stages. Rather it was adopted only when it became apparent how useful a tool it was. In the beginning even Dr Fauci was telling us masks were not effective and not to wear them.

     So as rational people we must know that we are up against a force that is overwhelming on some level. All we can do is make personal choices now about agreeing or not agreeing with masking, social distancing, vaccinations and following stay at home orders and curfews. When I have taken informal surveys of people I know personally I have found in the majority of cases that their belief in this virus is unshakable.

     All you can do is shake your head. The herd is the majority. And they are going to take down everyone with them.

     Good point about attitudes being stronger than ideology in people, TimH. Everyone has attitudes, from the dumbest to the smartest. Ideology is a coherent set of beliefs, the operative word being coherent. It takes education to develop a coherent belief system. That’s why they no longer teach the basics from which a broader ideology may form in a person. What do they teach? Attitudes, thats what! One of the most effective criticisms of politicians is that they are too ideological. Ideology is now a synonym for extreme. So, for example, if one has capitalist views, he becomes responsible for all the suffering those who believe we live in a capitalist society. So ideology is no longer discussed, but attitudes are reinforced constantly. Wear your mask for the good of everyone or we have to do something about global warming because we only have one earth. It’s difficult to deal with these people.
