in & around town
Even Colder Greetings!
Today I arrived in Yakutsk, which brings me closer to the coldest town on the planet. That might explain the current Yakutsk mid-day temperature of +8°F/-13°C, with tomorrow morning’s low forecast to be -20°F/-29°C. Yet, that’s nowhere near as cold as it gets here. Today, it’s sunny and calm, a good day to walk around and explore this city of about 300,000.

I’m shivering just reading your post, GB! If you see any good hockey players, The Canucks have an eye for Russians these days.
Sorry aboot that- it wasn’t my intention to give you the big chill. Good Russian hockey players? Aren’t they everywhere?
