There seem to be a lot more interest in the general public for polls of all sorts.

I think this is a GOOD thing.

At the root Polls like these are a reflection of the Electorates feelings about important issues.

In the past Polls were mostly done secretly ( Internal Polls) by Political organizations and nnot for the public

But Polling Organizations Like Rassmussen in the States and Angus Reid in Canada as well as Ipsos Nanos 538 338 and a whole host of others are keeping us current on the issues.

AND…The sentiment is in direct proportion to where the potential voters are getting their information from

Right now Canadians seem to be slowly but surely changing their minds on many topics. Which means they are shifting from MSM only to the Alt Universe

POLL # 1 From Angus Reid

In Gaza-Israel conflict, sympathies now shared equally between both sides after shift in Canadian opinion

POLL #2 from Leger

Medical Assistance in Dying

Over three-quarters of Canadians (77%) support the law on medical assistance in dying in Canada.
Quebecers (86%) and Canadians aged 55 and over (81%) are more likely to support it. Albertans
are more likely to oppose medical assistance in dying (20% versus 13% in Canada).

Medical Assistance in Dying for Mental Health Issues Only Does Not Have Majority Support
? Less than half of Canadians (42%) believe that the government should expand the law to allow individuals suffering
from mental health issues only to request medical assistance in dying, against 28% who believe the opposite and
30% who are unsure

POLL #3 IPSOS

POPULISM, ANTI-ELITISM AND NATIVISM
28-country Ipsos
Global Advisor survey
( WOW…PROBABLY THE MOST INTERESTING POLL YET ) ( GOOD NEWS …IN A YEAR WHERE THERE WILL BE HALF THE WORLD VOTING FOR GOVERNMENT …A BIG MAJORITY CLAIM TO BE ANTI ESTABLISHMENT ELITE POPULISTS )

snip 1

2024 is arguably the largest natural
experiment in human history, with
roughly four billion people going to
the polls in 50-plus countries. This
year will show what works and
what doesn’t work for voters.

snip 2

A majority of respondents in almost all
countries say their country needs a
strong leader to take the country back
from the rich and powerful (63% on
average). A majority in all 28 countries
(67% on average) also believe the
main divide in their society is between
ordinary citizens and the political and
economic elite.

snip 3

The building blocks of populism are
alive and well in 2024. When it comes to
select elections this year our survey
shows similarly strong tendencies
towards populist and anti-system
attitudes. Global citizens have lost faith in
their political systems.

snip #4

Anti-system sentiment has been relatively constant among Americans since 2016. Here, Trump
captures the prevailing zeitgeist as the champion of a broken country. Biden, in contrast, is the
quintessential establishment candidate. Which worldview will prevail? Establishment or antiestablishment? We will see
.
