Let me start with one the one hand on the other hand disclaimers.
On the one hand, I am having a hard time doing things today in part because I am so furious at being given a hard time with some extreme mask sort of stuff in the past few days. I am steaming. It is so unreasonable even if one assumes (as I do) that there may be some risk to guard against with various public hygiene measures.
On the other hand, I may sound like a so-called “concern troll” diverting dialog by pretending to support something by bringing up fake issues. The truth is that I believe in looking ahead to see what objections might come forth before they actually do.
Now to begin.
I like this site I think, and take note of it. I provisionally intend to use it in case I am badgered to accept a vaccination. Until a couple of months ago I was a pro-vaccination fanatic, the sort who eagerly encouraged others to get their shots etc. However I know what Gates’s malware has done to my computer and read of his predatory business practices (not an area of expertise for me, but I know), and I don’t want anything he has anything to do with into my body, which I think nowadays means new vaccines of any sort.
However one has to prepare for the Typhoid Mary argument, of the single person who causes harm to the multitudes. Also, I believe there is good if not entirely rigorous evidence that some old immunizations, even bad ones such as the smallpox one, had a net extremely beneficial effect. There are other examples. One can’t be too dogmatic but instead has to look at the evidence from the pre-Gates era.
Another problem for me is the “Honor Roll of Exemplary Individuals”. I have heard one of them lecture and know a certain amount about this person. I would not be surprised if this person if pinned down and asked about this organization would make a point of disavowing connections with this group in a way that made the group look bad. Have they actually received endorsements from the living persons whose photos they so prominently display? Maybe. If so, they should be competent enough to state as much. If not, they are setting themselves up for plenty of egg (or worse) on their face, and on the faces of anyone who supports this group. Also, it just looks cheesy.
