Nice collection. I’m afraid my stash is more mundane – bullion coins mostly, and old silver coins no longer circulating, especially dollar and half dollar coins. I do have the a roll or two of the mountain lion coins though, and a number of Australian pieces, as well as some kilogram coins. Throw in some South African Krugerrand silver ounces and a number of American Eagles.
It bugs me that the mint usually charges a premium for those collectibles, but you can only get the spot price if you turn them back in. Bullion coins are a better value, but it would be fun to collect at least one of each animal in the Royal Canadian Mint nature series. After all, one of each isn’t that costly. Methinks you are a sliver aficionado.
I had all those coins and then sum – seeing them has really triggered my ptsd from that aweful night …. god dam boat crash
