However sometimes it appears we are posting in a vacuum .
We have Many many Thousands of readers from all over the world.
Posters need to see some feedback and banter or they just tend to reduce / stop posting.

I read EVERY post more than once in most cases. I have also been (recreating) nearly EVERY chart posted here as my daily practice to learning charting. As an armature, I’m hesitant to comment for fear of being a pest to the more advanced chastest. I watch daily with great excitement for the next new post and appreciate all efforts more than they know! Thanks to all!

Yes, absolutely, we really need more commenting I think. It is great to have that dialogue, that is really why I post at all.

Do you really want comments? I censor myself all the time worrying that I’d just be indulging myself. Perhaps now for example.
Many years ago I literally spent 20 or more hours a week for years copying data (from newspapers!) and later downloading data and making my own charts, often it as it turned out reinventing already-invented TA wheels as well as subjecting data to statistical analysis. Rightly or wrongly I figure that with all my work building things from scratch I got a fairly good sense of just eyeballing charts and a couple of indicators plus daily price movements. Therefore I don’t bother with creating charts and posting them. I just look at the most simple minded ones on bigcharts.com and quickly glance at other peoples’ charts here.
I find peoples’ charts here useful, but I only glance at them. Other people who have sweated over charts less might gain more from detailed examination of the charts here. I am scared that if I personally comment I might be overly glib as I probably am.
If I had more time I’d go back to some unfinished work on cycles from years ago, but instead all I have to contribute is babbling. Others with other stages of experience may also not have charts to contribute. Do you really want any and all comments from people who aren’t contributing charts? You want even glib or babbling comments from me, or perhaps comments from people who pretend to know but don’t know? Are there some kinds of comments you would prefer? It’s your very nice website, but might I suggest– soliciting in particular as particularly treasured questions:
questions of clarification would be particularly useful to solicit (not sarcastic ones). For example, Why do you choose the XYX day EMA? What is the MNL indicator and why do you like using it so much? Why do you like ratios so much? You like cycles, but are there times when you have found cycles don’t work so well? And above all, I don’t understand this at all–could you please explain this.
Also any novel methodologies that the poster is kind enough to introduce (though might do well to patent first).
questions of clarification – great idea. That will increase the helpfulness of the posts even further.
Ask questions in a comment any time. One at a time would be helpful. Most Posters will be happy to clarify and the board as a whole will benifit

finally I can post here…
i use pretty much everything here…using the combination of the posting styles (cycles, gann, charting, wave and so on
allows mwe to make a more informed decision
not to mention their is so much industry knowledge from the posters which has immensely helped me.
the proof, i have made money as opposed to what i used to do.
i check and read the sites almost non stop through the day.
I find the charts and comments on here priceless. Case in point – Uranium. Everyone has to do their own due diligence, but it sure looks like it’s worth having some funds in them at a time when they may be about to surge (I know they’ve already made great gains from their lowest points). It really helps to be able to digest a range of views and opinions, and not get caught up in the hype. Timing it right makes a big difference !
I love this site, I check it many times as I flit about the net. I only trade stocks and most of them are commodity related. I am more of a silver bug than gold bug but I like both for stock selection. I have to agree that I only post if I feel it will contribute to the topic. I may ask more questions though. Love the action so far in 2017!
I too am in the same camp as many above. I have little or anything constructive to add to the posts by the many awesome posters besides my sincere gratitude for all their most appreciated time and effort. This is the absolute best TA site on the net thanks to the most excellent contributors.

I thank every poster for their real great efforts here! I read all their postings with enthousiasm, but because I’m not a professional as they are, I do not have many comments. I just want you and everybody else here at Goldtent let you know that I highley appreciate this site and all the posters!

And a final request: please keep up this site. It’s the best precious metals-site I’ve ever seen.
I really believe its amazing what goes on here, all the selfless work put up daily by the pros is incredible, like many others who commented, I am very grateful and love reading and seeing all the analysis on here a few times a week if not daily!
-I will definitely post more comments and questions and whatnot:) … and MAYBE there’s a way to pay back these pros who share their hard work with us here and help improve the financial side of our lives ? Maybe every quarter or 6 months Fully can take a survey of what these pros can use in terms of insight or help in other areas of their life…..for example, Im an expert dog trainer and maybe one of them has a dog or a dog within their family that needs a bit of help, it would be my pleasure to offer what I know in terms of a phone call or sending a video to show hands on work and how-to( ive got a bunch and can make more anytime)
My point is:) maybe with the entire community here, we probably cover a lot of areas of expertise or know how or experience that these pros like anyone else could benefit from….anyways, that’s just my 2 cents, if questions and comments is all that’s needed or wanted, im a-ok with that;)

Wow, who would have thought? Myself, like others, don’t want to be a burden just making simple comments or in my case smart ass remarks too often.
I don’t do much of any charting but continue to learn tons here! I check in many times a day!
For now on expect way more smart ass remarks! Ha!
