Humans have 2 Immune systems . Innate and Acquired

The first line of defence from external invaders is the Innate immune system…The components of this system are primarily in the Mucosal lining and secretions of the nasal Cavity . This line of defence which has many incredible components is very strong in Children and wanes slowly with time. If a Pathogen does manage to get past this tangled web of protection upon protection it triggers the next level of defence and the body produces the components of the Acquired Immune System .
