Like Plunger said last night …This is what we have been waiting for for most of our investment careers.
Some of us for many decades and some who have just arrived at the Party ( and are still early)
So…We should be whooping it up and high fiveing …ah well elbow bashing 🙂

Short term I’m optimisic about the metals but not so much the miners. BTW I won’t ‘trade’ phys so I could really care less about the interim moves in the metals.

Yes, the existing and growing threats to our freedoms are a police raid to a celebration party. People in Germany who sewed gold coins in their coat linings may have been better prepared than their peers, but the very fact they had to, spoke of fear ruling greed. Many people in war torn failed states are in this position right now, and for those of us in more stable ‘civilised’ countries, the threats are clear and real. Currently, I have a fleeting thought about the level my ‘insurance’, but am increasing drawn to think about masks, vaccines, the lovely Davos crowd, corrupt politicians and how and where I will make a stand if things get worse. Luckily I have a passion for nature and wildlife which is all around me, grow flowers and vegetables and have a lovely woman in my life. So, many joys to cherish as well. As my old T’ai Chi teacher used to say: if someone has you in a hold, focus on what parts of the body you can move, rather than what is being held. Then use that freedom to loosen the hold and break free.
