Occam’s razor demands we seek the simplest explanation, which as usual is good old fashioned stupidity. No western leader, out front or behind the scenes, is outsmarting the Russians or the Chinese.

As far as I can tell, Part 2 is not out yet, and toward the end I got the sense that there will be more after that.
I like the first person accounts SR brings in to get Ukrainian/Russian perspectives.
And the Z/Pope/Moore meeting seems to really speak to the Vatican’s much higher profile in geopolitical affairs than most would suppose.
Missing so far, is Russia’s take on this thesis that Ritter presents.
