Thank you for finding and posting the Tucker/Putin interview at the Tent.
Can you imagine any western leader or any leader to do this?
All in all, as expected, it was a Putin tour de force! I thought Tucker was somewhat naive from time to time in his questioning. I think he was a little intimidated at the start, perhaps feeling that he needed to debate rather than interview. This has become common in western media because journalists see themselves as being part of the story. Still, Putin was insistent about making his points even when interrupted or when Tucker tried to steer him. As the interview progressed Tucker settled in, listening more intently, and allowed Putin to express himself freely. Putin is far more intellectual and experienced than western politicians. I think our journalists have difficulty with his approach.
The western public will certainly be swayed by the force of Putin’s arguments, if only they will take time, and have the inclination to listen.

It will be interesting to see how many lasted past the first 10 minutes of Rus history. (Vlad asked for 30 seconds to a minute to sketch that out.) I would wager that not one American in ten can pick out modern day Ukraine on an outline map. Never mind the other locations.
Thanks for getting this posted up so quickly Fully. Well done. I tuned in and listened. Could hardly keep my eyes open though. Boring beyond belief. But that’s just my take. Its a huge circular mind fuck like all conflicts that go nowhere except back to more tail biting. Reminds me too much of being married I suppose.
I do not trust Putin by the way. The guy is a snake. No better than our own politicians. All cut from the same cloth.
So I am not persuaded by his dumb insistence “it was them, not us!”

No, I listened. Vlad is deceptive though. His answers reveal nothing of value. You know, he is read in on the script. You probably think he is the adversary of the West but that is not true. He is part of the bigger agenda and playing his role. All of this is a psyop including Tuckers visit there. My reading on this is that every aspect of the interview was staged. None of it came across as genuine or honest.

My take is that TC indicated that they’d been planning this for ages.
I’m not sure Vlad did the same. They had to have known this might come together.
So then it really depends on what Vlad hoped to get out of this.
Does he need mileage among domestic constituents? Doubtful.
International legitimacy? BRICS don’t think so.
Or push harder to get The West to question their leadership in the WH, NATO, State, etc? I’d say.
The leadership is no doubt ENTRENCHED in their views. Putin Derangement.
But the people COULD BE another matter.
Credibility meant TC could not toss softballs.
But MARKETING success probably called for a different tone from Vlad, and perhaps “dumbed down” content, given the “Uninformed Public” at TC put it.
If I was TC, I would have asked for TWO SESSIONS. One opener at a high level, to cover territory aside from Ukraine. Fast paced. Then the second as the history lesson. For the history nerds. MAYBE throw in some maps from 1654, and after.
It was perfect. It was epic . It was Not staged. Tucker was signing off at 1 hr and 30 min but Vlad had more to say and it ended when he was done.
This will get Hundreds of millions of watches. There will be segments posted where you can watch highlights.

Putin lays it all out on the table, backed by a remarkable detailed history, dating back centuries.
The collective West are the aggressors, and will be seen to be on the wrong side of history, when the dust settles.
The interview, for the most part, re-enforced what I already know.
Still, I enjoyed all of it. I tried to imagine myself as someone who knows nothing of Russia or the reasons for the conflict. Would I be informed? Would it open my mind? So, yes, and yes, I think so.
I wondered the same but know that some of my friends will never watch the interview.
All I hear is Putin Bad, Biden Good! Same as Trump Bad, Biden Good! No reasons given of course. History for them started in Feb 2022. Putin Bad!

Putin is a lawyer. He is ex KGB. That doesn’t make him wrong. I would have liked Carlson to have pressed him more on why he didn’t start the SMO in 2014. Lots of Russian speakers died in Donbass because he waited. Denazification means killing every last one of them. This is Russia’s front man our front man shits his pants and has a problem stringing a sentence together.
He addressed that. in 2014 they signed the Minsk Accords II. Also Russia was not so strong back then. But by 2022 they were ready militarily
It also took time for Russia to see (and be persuaded) that The West and Ukraine especially would not comply with the terms of the Minsk Accords.
The West has been lying to the Russians since 1991. Well at any rate it’s obvious to me that Russia has to achieve all its objectives before they would even decide to come to the table. The West has no appetite to send in their own people to fight so when Ukraine runs out of bodies it’s over. World sure has gone to shit quick. There isn’t enough rope to take care of the problem we will have.
The strange question I’m now asking ….
Was Russia exceedingly FORTUNATE that all their overtures to the West after 1989 and thereafter were rebuffed? Suppose they had been integrated into Europe over these last three decades. Would Russia have been able to maintain its cultural integrity? Would WOKE ideology have crept in instead? Would Russia have been prodded into broadening its economic base out of necessity? We all thought Greater Russia was ripe for splintering, given the divisions we’d seen between Russia and its ex soviet neighbors. Now its the USSA nearing civil war.
