Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer says that those who refuse to take the COVID vaccine won’t have “freedom to move around” and will have to continue to wear masks.
“What may be mandatory is proof of…vaccination in order to have latitude and freedom to move around…without wearing other types of personal protective equipment,” he added.
Williams also suggested that people would be prevented from entering certain settings without having been vaccinated if there was a “risk.”
He mentioned schools, retirement homes and hospitals, so maybe no medical treatment in a hospital if you are not vaccinated. He also says they can’t force people to take the vaccine. I wonder how far they would go. I would think that not allowing people into grocery stores would be too much and would be forcing people to be vaccinated although I suppose one could have groceries delivered. And if medical treatment in a hospital is denied isn’t that forcing people to be vaccinated. I wonder if people would revolt. I was expecting this of course but thanks for the heads up.
