you are over 400% more likely to die in association with a tetanus vaccine than you are of tetanus

Note : The comments make a good point . The low incidence of tetanus may be because everybody gets the shot
Also Originally Tetanus was found in Rural Populations because it is associates with a bacteria in Equine Poop…Yikes…thats me …and I do get a lot of cuts …so !
Therefore we need a study of the Amish and Menonites…they work with Horses and do not get vaccinated

Me.
I’m not sure if it was tetanus, but I went swimming in Lake Canandaigua once as a child and stepped on something sharp and rusty.
It got infected and you could see the white blood cells trying to tackle the problem.
Had to go in for antibiotics.
I was out of school for nearly a month and got to listen to all the great music emerging from the UK in the winter around 1963-64. So there was upside in the end.
But to your point, as long as antibiotics work, I don’t understand the sense of engaging a vaccine as a prophylactic treatment unless you expect to get ‘nailed’.
