Lines up with what I heard talking with another nurse from a Toronto area hospital as well. Basically, the government is lying. It’s not hype or exagerration, it’s categorically lying. They know hospitals aren’t having problems but they say they are to prop up their own political agenda knowing that the MSM will back up their fraud.
Two interesting quotes:
1) “NURSE ANDREA: The other day a member of the leadership team was saying how our ER volume is about half what it was a year ago (before the “deadly pandemic”). Someone said, “But there’s so many cases… why are volumes lower?” I said, “Maybe the virus is not as deadly as the hype suggests?” Those kinds of comments are usually met with silence.”
That silence is fear.
2) “NURSE ANDREA: We had an epidemic of physician-induced death from ventilators in the first wave, no doubt. That is beyond dispute. Death from ventilators and lockdown, not COVID. This has been well documented in places like New York.”
There is a theory that the high death rate during the initial weeks of the outbreak in April could not possibly be due to Covid-19 conditions alone because the deaths were too tightly clustered and didn’t show the usual 2 week progression from first symptoms to death. This comment (made by others as well) supports the theory that medical interventions caused that severe spike in deaths and it was due to policies that were intended to magnify the apparent deadliness of the virus and make sure people would accept emergency governmental powers and lockdowns. The virus never again had such a high death rate but the impression stayed that it was nothing at all like the flu, which it has been shown since to be almost the same in terms of death rate and the kind of people who die from it. They made people die of Covid in the early weeks of April in many (but not all) countries.
