I should say, I suppose, that I’ve never engaged directly with social media. I know what crap it is because reporters think that by telling their audience what someone said on one of the platforms they are doing “journalism”. The whole thing gives me a laugh. Imagine thinking you are an intrepid journalist because you act as a stenographer for whichever yahoo you think will get you the most likes. That being said, if you need to be on some social media at least pick one that’s not working against your interests and beliefs.
Well put, Strider. I have never used any social media platform. I get news and true information here at the Tent and do my social commentary here as well.
