If I present plenty of evidence based data then yes I can use it.
We have many patients on very high flow oxygen without much hope that are DNR. I see no reason not to try it on these people. Will see what reaction I get.

As someone who spends far more time on right sites than left sites and takes as needed from both, I have to say that the herding behavior and cultism, the airheaded fandom and self-ghettoization can be pretty bad on either side. Hypocrisy in complaining about herding is probably worse in certain places the right, if anything — bleating and bleating in near unison about the same thing on how superiorly individualistic We are vs “sheeple” — though the actual herding behavior is pretty bad in the center, where the “liberals” (ie the neofascistic neolibcons live), and maybe after that maybe just to the left of center with liberals, and certain minuscule far-left groups.
That is to the extent that the ever-increasingly anachonistic left-vs-right division gets used.
Best to give it a break as much as possible with that sort of stuff, which just further empowers the divide-and-rulers. From the outside this how-great-we-are-how-stupid-they-are just ghettoizes one further. Better to quit being played, mystified, and bamboozled by yourself, by others, and ideologies.
