Beautiful, yes. Lessons of history…
Berlin was a happening place in the early 1930s. In 1945 not so much.
Ukraine has a dark history. The people worship Bandera. A Nazi.
He was a butcher. Over 100,000 Poles were massacred and butchered under his direction.
Women and children hacked to death and tortured. And the Ukrainian people idolize Bandera.
Bee careful with how you paint the Ukrainians, as they are non one homogeneous mass. Talking about them as Bandera worshipers might be akin to someone in Kenya saying Americans are a woke idiots. Obviously, neither statement is correct. I honestly don’t have any idea of the percentage of people in Ukraine who do or do not worship Bandera, but from personal experience I’m certain it’s not all and probably not anywhere near the majority. During my travels in Ukraine, all I encountered were friendly, kind, helpful, humble, hardworking people. But that might just be me, as that’s the type of people I always encounter. Yet I’ll add that what I find all over the world is there are relatively very few people who don’t want the same thing, which is to just be able live and enjoy their life, without bothering or being bothered by anyone. It’s a simple version of the golden rule. Most people definitely don’t want war, for any reason.
