While I knew most people don’t have critical thinking and logic skills, I did not know it was only about 20%. Was not aware of this study but our recent Covid experience confirms these percentages. So it appears millions of years of evolution, have hardwired 4 in 5, or 80% of the human species, to obey authority, and not ask too many questions. That is, 80% are herding animals. I guess there is a reason for this, in evolutionary terms, for the survival of the species. If 80% questioned authority, it could be chaos, and perhaps we would not be here today?
