I never give a politician the benefit of the doubt. If they are turning, it’s political in nature, not moral. In any event, his particular turn is indicative that Pennsylvania is going Republican. To my mind, that means it’s President Trump!
I’d love to live in a country where elections matter!

It is probably like many pols. If their constituents are leaning a certain way they sometimes have to appear out of step with their party’s philosophy or they get voted out. He is just trying to fit in so he gets reelected next time out.
