The UN’s Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Flemings blamed Twitter/X for the spread of dangerous misinformation and “hate speech” at the Nobel Prize Summit.
“And of course, firings at Twitter have left us with no one to call to flag content that is abusive or even incitement to violence. We’re now seeing that almost anyone can promote disinformation for the price of a blue tick.”
“We have teamed up with the platforms to elevate reliable information around Covid and climate to amplify trusted messengers, and we have quite an army of them out there who want to take un content and promote it within their followings, and also educating users on how to slow the spread of disinformation.”
“Our new slogan that we want to have everybody have in their ear when they’re online is ‘pause, take care before you share’.”
“But yet we do feel like we are in an information war and that we need to massively ramp up our response.”
“So we’re creating at the essential capacity to monitor and also have the ability to rapidly react when miss and disinformation and hate speech is threatening not just our people, our operations, but also the issues and the causes that we’re working on.”
“But also we are going to be gearing up our verified initiative around climate change and developing this UN code of conduct on information integrity on digital platforms, hoping to set global standards that we can all advocate around, so that we can collectively work for more humane internet.”
The United Nations has announced a global effort to police the Internet for any “misinformation” that threatens the “issues and causes.” Alarming.

These guys already have almost complete control of the narrative, the spin, the media outlets, the political class, the experts on tap, the knowledge base and research and yet here they are declaring war on any and all remaining objections to their self righteous bullshit? You got to be kidding. With all their billions in resources and connections they still have not been able to stem the flow of truth leaks and challenges so now they want to plug any remaining holes and build an information fortress that only they control. The pure arrogance of the objective is a complete joke. Most of those people are not even in the top few percent of intellect to start with. They are hardly a match for the many who are adversaries of their agenda. Money obviously does not buy brains. But it buys committees to make rules. And it can buy an army of online finks to rat out the objectors.
Its time to defund all centralized global, publicly funded agencies.
There is simply no accountability. And they are top down authoritarian.
What they are basically admitting is their BS can’t standup to the truth. So censor the truth.
Fortunately, there are just too many who have awakened to the fact that these Global bodies are desperate to control us.
The more they push the harder the pushback and we are the majority.
Their days of control are numbered. I would hate to be them when they finally throw in the towel.
Expect violence from both sides as they know what is coming if they lose. They will fight to the death.
An exciting time in history but we have to live through hard times before some form of sanity prevails and it will.
We look at the damage they have done to society. It won’t be solved overnight.
The unfortunate reality is some of them will survive to carry on in the background until we become weak again.
We can guarantee the cycle will continuously repeat.
Violence is not required and will actually harm those who are in opposition Columbia. Its a terrible idea. Peaceful opposition is already working. Action through the courts and through public opinion is sufficient to make changes. This agenda will fizzle out on its own and end with a whimper rather than a bang.
Hope you are right but they know what their fate is if they lose the narrative completely.
