Skiied with my Aussie neighbours this morning.  They are headed back to Sydney later this evening.  Been in BC for 6 weeks or so. It was difficult to leave Oz and expensive.

They have multiple Passports. Aussie, British and Canadian with the Dad possibly having German if that is possible.

They were laughing about all the restrictions back home. Geez!   I think they may be packing up and moving to their home here in BC when they return.  They have homes in all of those countries.  Lucky bastards.

Canada is relatively free compared to the horrors of the restrictions they have endured.  Aussie members on the forum may agree with their thoughts.  The world is amazed at the groundswell of support that the Canadian truckers convoy has achieved.

Possibly an Order of Canada Medal for the organizers who had the courage to start the movement.

I’m thinking that both the Conservative and Liberal Parties need a leadership convention to get in touch with their base. Most Canadians are either slightly Left or Right of Centre.  The Liberals, like the Democrats in the States, have morphed into something unrecognizable to their supporters.  I couldn’t vote for either at this point.

It will be an interesting week ahead.  I was in Ecuador in the early 2000’s when they had three Presidents in the three weeks we were in the country.  The protests in Quito were impressive with all the horns.  It seemed to be the Taxi drivers mainly. Armed police everywhere.
