I have dealt mostly with Kitco for phys where you need to buy a $25. money wire plus pay shipping and insurance.
I bank exclusively with a credit union. Zero banking fees and they pay a “dividend” as well as interest.

Being an old fart, I need a steady stream of reliable dividends. I invest in the Banks stocks where I bank. I never feel bad about paying fees.
They are also too big to fail and the Government won’t let them.
I know, they don’t have the same excitement as the PM miners.
For utilities, BCE has been a great steady performer with some ups and downs. Dividend is over 5% presently.
I need to put a regular supply of food on the table.
As I recall — credit unions in Canada also provide $1M deposit insurance whereas banks are limited to $125K. Might be important to some individuals.
