Recently I flew from Kelowna to Saskatoon one way , ticket was over $ 700 clams. On the other hand I can fly direct to Vallarta RETURN for $ 600 clams. Domestic travellers are getting raped. For those that use West Jet I reco trying Cheap O Air for tickets, have used them many a time.
You are right, Highroller. I’ve always found domestic flights to be exorbitantly priced, even 20+ years ago. By contrast, I can go British Airways YVR direct to London for $1200 return, depending on timing.
I remember, when we lived in Ontario, people who wanted to go to a US destination found it much more economical to drive across the border to Buffalo and go from there.
The Canadian airline industry is so pathetic, and Turd-o’s carbon taxes are only making it worse 🙁
