UPDATE #2 – UKRAINE responds Putin’s ceasefire terms ‘unacceptable’

Ukrainian presidential aide Mykhailo Podolyak said there was ’no possibility to find compromise’ between Russian President Putin’s statement and Ukraine’s conditions for ending the war.

He further said that the ceasefire conditions of the Russian leader were unacceptable to Kyiv.

RUSSIA’s PROPOSAL

  • Ukrainian troops must be completely withdrawn from the territory of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions
  • Ukraine’s refusal to join NATO
  • Neutral, non-aligned, nuclear-free status of Ukraine
  • All Western sanctions against the Russian Federation must be lifted
  • The status of Crimea and Sevastopol, DPR and LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions as regions of the Russian Federation should be recorded in international treaties
  • If Kyiv and the West refuse the new peace proposal, then the conditions will be different, Putin said. – Ostashko reports
