Even Worse Charts in the History of Worst Ever Charts – Part II
Well that Paypal chart was an eye opener Fully. Holy Fook is right. I had no idea. The world has gone crazy. To be fair to Paypal though their stock had already crashed before they introduced the 2500 dollar fine for vaccine misinformation in October 2022. They were probably thinking the share price could not go down further. Perhaps it was even so low they figured it was the bottom already and might soar afterwards thus giving them cover to justify the absurd penalty on users.
But they were wrong. Price has fallen another 22% since that fateful statement and in spite of reversing themselves.
I have a couple runners up for the worst chart EVER. Both are current and the companies live on despite the corporate headwinds and work from home trend. Here they are….UpWork and WeWork. Maybe its not a good idea to have the word “Work” in your company name.
Thanks for researching the date of the $2500 Fine announcement . Certainly didn’t help their stock price 🙂
These charts …yikes !
What services do these companies provide ?
WeeWork was renting shared office space! Terrible timing.
WeWork attracts online gig talent to US and European firms from all over the world. But mostly from low cost or poor countries.
Like India, Bangladesh, Africa and wherever there are programmers and animators etc for online hire.
