The new end-times cult
Across various societies and at different times, numerous ‘end-times’ cults tend to spring up.
Convinced the world is about to end, they claim to have some sort of select knowledge that will either ‘save everyone’ or allow a select few to make through.
What unites all of those cults is a near-obsession with death, suffering, and the most pessimistic possible view of the future, combined with a total lack of faith in human ingenuity. There is also a disdain for the modern world, and a desire to go back to some sort of idealized primitive past.
Today, much of what we call the ‘green’ movement has fallen into that kind of cult-mindset, believing the end of the world is nigh and demanding the complete destruction of what makes advanced industrialized economies possible.

Let us all hope that Jamie, the Fed and others have what it takes to make the coup leaders stand down. There is a small cabal trying to insert their authority into the workings of the entire global system of governance including money creation itself. They are unelected and unwelcome by most industry but its only now that some real pushback is emerging.
