Starting my Bollinger Band Madness …
I started working on Red Label’s BB Mayhem post, to try and identity “too far too fast” moments. https://goldtadise.com/?p=451522
But got side tracked to creating this visual pleasant chart! Looks like convergence was attained.. and Silver is tempting another expansion right now!
BUT.. can it still be an echo and we all get bamboozled and this goes back into a 1990’s type drought?
Edit: updated silver chart with % width of flood gates… #tight
Edit: Adding Gold.. from the looks of it.. this doesn’t look like we are getting “bamboozled” as gold is already advancing it’s expansion
Bellissimo! You are quite good at using both your right and left brain!
One request, if I may: Could you make this into a Log chart? Then the 4th Silver bull run would look more possible. I think in percentages, and relative values make more sense to me than absolute values — especially for long-term charts. Old habits do die hard — I used Log paper for my charts in the 70s, LOL!
I wrote this before you added the gold chart, in which I see you are talking %
Hi Alfa! Indeed, I should experiment more with log charts… could give another view to my analysis. If the Log and Arithmetic confirm and give same signal… even better!
Many thanks, Patrick! And I look forward to all your future creative charting projects… and wherever you take us next.
That’s an interesting view of Silver Patrick….
The 64 BB has interesting characteristics even on the 1 hr timeframe.
You post about the SGR on occasion. 3 observations re the SGR 1) The SGR may mark the transition from stealth to mainstream interest in the PM’s and 2) the SGR usually rises if the CRB is deflationary (Finacial Strain as opposed to Inflationary pressure in the market). 3) PM mining stocks may react more favourably to drops in the SGR due to Inflationary reasons than Financial Strains.
I think you mead GSR not SGR Red
Please confirm
Thanks fully
*GSR not SGR
Yes! Those BB settings seem to work with with instruments that hibernate… then explode. I tried on the GSR.. or any other ratios… and it’s too smoothed out. Less use full in those cases.
Pretty Colorful
