After my diatribe, in response to your foolish incoming President, may I express my warmest Christmas regards to American Tenters. Even as a child, in Montreal, my parents took us “across the line” regularly for vacations, and to visit relatives. As an adult, I’ve been everywhere in the lower forty eight! I have never felt any appreciable difference between the peoples of our countries. We are children of a common mother, as the Peace Arch Monument declares in the west where I live. All along our fifty five hundred mile border there are countless relationships of enormous import. Would that Trump understood those relationships, and perhaps American Tenters will forgive me my outrage at their incoming President, who in his ignorance, denigrates us all. Many of you will say,  I shouldn’t take him seriously. He’s the incoming American President. If we can’t take him seriously, we’re all in trouble!
