Merry Christmas to all even if you don’t celebrate
I catch myself going to a dark place everyday when I read how depraved the World has become.
The World was never perfect and likely will never be.
If I look at how far we have come since the darkest days of the Scamdemic, it is a miracle that we came through intact.
The awakening has been impressive. I doubt the last 25-30% will ever come on over as their minds have been corrupted with the death wish and anti-civilizational crap they have been fed.
It is the Youth who are our future and I am impressed that they for the most part know something is not right. They have an open mind. I am saddened that the European Youth appear to be totally in line with what is happening over there.
The state of Europe today is quite depressing.
Positive thoughts do lead to happier day. Negative thoughts can only lead to a bad place.
Merry Christmas Columbia and Green Mountain Girl
In every circumstance and enviornment there are those who thrive and those who don’t
“Positive thoughts do lead to happier day. Negative thoughts can only lead to a bad place ”
It’s the Law of Attraction…IMO more powerful and ubiquitous than the Law of Gravity
A a Happy Hannukkah to you Fully.
The start of Hannukkah just happens to fall on Christmas Day.
To those who hate the Jews. All Jews are not Zionists and most likely have nothing to do with what is happening in the Middle-east.
Unfortunately, religious differences are the major reasons for war over the years. I personally don’t want a one world religion as that will lead to a darker place.
A wish for peace and living in coexistence.
“I catch myself going to a dark place everyday when I read how depraved the World has become.”
C’mon, Columbia, you’re looking at your own formula: if you can’t observe what you read without becoming depressed, then stop reading all that shit! There’s no need to torture yourself.
My experience is that life is perfect and always getting better. I see this everywhere I look. Even my camera sees it! The ‘perfect’ part is obvious, as none of us would be having this human experience if EVERYTHING weren’t perfect. Change one little thing and poof! We’re gone. The conclusion is everything is perfect.
It is within your power to focus on the endless wonderful aspects of life, to immerse your mind in them and be overcome with emotion because of the amazing beauty of it all. My Christmas wish for you is the hope that you gift yourself with details of the bright miracle of life, on Christmas and every day. Let your light shine!
Good point GB. I do tend to pass over some of the depressing posts. Knowing the latest info on the shots no matter how depressing it is allows me to see the progress we are making in society. Give thanks we never had to go that route of complying.
Making it a point to be outside for a good portion of the day in nature and enjoy the company of others even if I don’t agree with them.
Asking questions mostly to discover their views on life. They usually have no clue of my opinions. Why ruin their perfect world as they pay the big bucks to ski at the Resort.
Tell that to the Ukrainians who are freezing and hungry and dirty.
Tell that to the people in Gaza.
Get real Bill…
If you pass over it you’re amoral.
Get real, you say. That implies you think you’re more real than I am. And even more moral. Maybe, I don’t know.
Did you ever consider that we might each get to choose our own reality? I know I consciously choose mine and, as you might be able to tell, I like it. As far as I can tell, this is available to anyone, anywhere, in any situation.
From what you wrote, it appears you prefer suffering to joy, whether it be imagining yourself ‘standing with Ukraine’, Gaza-style strife or maybe taking on all the misery in the whole wide world. Not me. To each their own. Suffering is NOT what I’m here for.
Having compassion for those who suffer does not require one to be miserable themself. You might even find that you have something useful to share when you are in your joy.
Merry Christmas, Kestrel!
