Bye Bye Baikal
Some really touching human encounters in this one
You are Obsessed with this Lake …and I can see why
😉
Living near Lake Superior, I consider Lake Baikal a sister. Wish I was there with you.
Well, you know I would be willing to return 😉
I should have said big sister. My gosh, the amount of water that lake holds is mind blowing.
The statistics of Lake Baikal are amazing, but what helps put the numbers into perspective for me is something you probably know: Lake Baikal holds more water than all of the Great Lakes combined!

I’m a pushover for metal sculptures. Those were great.
Very cool hydrofoil also.
The next gallery will have a bunch of metal sculptures in it, but only a tiny fraction of what I saw and took photos of. When you see the location, you’ll laugh. It’s a natural.
Your next assignment, should you choose to accept it …

This tape will self destruct in 10 seconds.
Wow…that’s insane …where is that ?
Fully- do you know how to use Google Lens? It’s easy to find info about pretty much anything with it, or with other equivalent programs. It’s amazing to either just point your phone at something, to identify it, or upload a photo on your phone or computer and have the program identify the item, plant, location, person, etc. It’s actually because of Google Lens that I went to Chad. Part of that story was already told, but I’ll share the rest of it with the Chad photos.
I did a screen save of the beginning of the carpet video and Google Lens identified the location as being near Antalya, Turkey. It’s a place where I’ve been, but I didn’t know there were carpet fields in the countryside, otherwise I would have sought them out. Next time!
