On the morning of Dec. 15, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas suggested in an ABC News interview that the drones also were not flying around sensitive military sites.
Despite the assurances from federal officials, multiple elected officials have called on the government to shoot the drones down.
“Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge,” President-elect Donald Trump wrote on social media over the weekend. “I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down.”
Um, I’m the governor who made vaccines mandatory by decree, but god forbid I don’t have the authority to take action against unauthorized incursions on NY airspace. They’re all just f’n puppets.
This whole story seems a pile of bull wampum to me. I get the feeling that our political leaders think they can sell us on the most outrageous nonsense, so as to distract us from the results their outrageous behaviour. Yes, we may have bankrupted your governments, and destroyed the economy, but look over there! It’s a flying saucer! I may have been born at night, but it wasn’t last night!
