Democrats want to pretend that Social Security is the problem. It isn’t. It is mostly paid for by payroll deductions, and can be brought into balance with certain actuarial adjustments. It is not a big deal! The big deal is Medicare and Medicaid. They are almost completely government financed , and growing at an incredible rate. By themselves, they are breaking the bank!
