About 1.25 million people died of TB last year, the new report said, adding that TB likely returned to being the world’s top infectious disease killer after being replaced by COVID-19 during the pandemic. The deaths are almost double the number of people killed by HIV in 2023.
WHO said TB continues to mostly affect people in Southeast Asia, Africa and the Western Pacific; India, Indonesia, China, the Philippines and Pakistan account for more than half of the world’s cases.
“The fact that TB still kills and sickens so many people is an outrage, when we have the tools to prevent it, detect it and treat it,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a statement.

I don’t quite understand why you are giving voice HERE to what the WHO says. This is fear porn, issued by a centralized authority driven disinformation channel we have all come to distrust.
Yes, we should be cognizant of what they are up to, and what others are likely being fed …. but in this venue, I would also be expecting a firm retort. Or at least an advisory … “they are at it again”.
I do hope RFKjr finds the means to choke off WHO.

For the vast majority of articles posted, I DO NOT MAKE personal comments on the content – nor do I intend to! If & when that occurs, I try to carefully separate them from the content/article/post itself (and often bold same to ensure that there is no confusion.)
Goldtent members are clearly smart enough to make up their own minds and/or decide whether they care enough about a subject to even read the post.

It takes many MANY volunteered hours per day to do this research. I am hopefully that my efforts are improving our collective understanding of what’s happening to our world, however, to assume that any particular article posted is a reflection of my personal opinion on ANY subject is incorrect.
The internet is our current information highway — the legacy/MSM is dead — we need MORE eyes searching the thousands of posts/articles generated daily!
EVERYONE that sees something that they think would benefit our collective knowledge / understanding is encouraged and SHOULD take the time to post it for all to review.
