   Most of the tires on EV’s have less sidewall than for say a larger vehicle of the same weight. Less volume of rubber.

   With all the Green regs the addition of tires to Cement Kilns and Pulp and Paper operations has almost ceased.

   Most End of Life tires are now shredded and landfilled. Up until a few years ago, the South West US used to ship these tires to third world countries to burn for energy. Both bad options.

   Recently the Steel industry discovered that one can use Carbon Black from tires instead of Coking Coal in the manufacturing of steel. We patented the use of shredded tires and processing them into recycled Carbon Black and recovering other forms of energy. It’s taken a while to get off the ground but looks like the interest has picked up finally. Ahead of our time by two decades.
   In the US SouthWest they would ship them overseas in the returning empty containers. China doesn’t want them anymore for obvious reasons. Air pollution is the main one.
