Loading ...DISCUSSION OF THE “GAP” ISSUE WHEN VIEWING GOLDTENT
We have had many complaints about Large Gaps in many posts when they are viewed on a cell phone….THESE HAPPEN IF THE LINKS ARE LONG AND RUN INTO THE SIDEBAR.
I would like to understand the extent of the problem. Please respond to the new poll . On the sidebar…which apparently is too small to access on a phone . let me know here about that as well.
Meanwhile to our more tech savy members please explain in simple english in comments here the concern with opening a link with tinyurl.
I have not experienced any problems that I know of with these.

looks like primarily the issue is if you are getting this url from an untrustworthy source
At Goldtent you are getting the tinyurl from members. If you don’t trust members what are you doing here ?
personally i never open any links from somone i don’t know…but have NO concern opening any link here at the Tent
What am i missing ?
I sometimes “look” at the phone to see if anything has been posted but am unable to actually read any of the posts due to the small print size. Sometimes there are gaps which is a PITA but again I don’t read the tent from the phone.
The sidebar also takes away much of the “space” for any post which also inhibits using a cellphone to access same.
If there are some that use cellphones to read the tent that don’t have issues — maybe there is a pattern of what they use that enables them to do so.
I do all my reading and posting from a computer……
