Dangerous gain-of-function research has to stop now. Congress must stop the funding immediately. There must be accountability. There must be justice for the injured and the dead.
Yep! Nothing has changed. Deep in the text is the gain-of-function research that they still have left to do. It is just removed from the front page of the proposal. The are no more annual reports – so whatever research has been conducted subsequently is not known past the 2019 annual report.
There are ten million people dead from this research “project.” Do we need another manmade outbreak to fully grasp how dangerous this type of research is?
It has to be just based on how widespread it was. Past atrocities may have been more horrific in the country or countries where they took place but this encompassed almost the whole globe. Maybe a number of African nations didn’t get as affected as most everywhere else but this genocide was implemented and carried out globally. Some leaders may have been in the dark but the scope of the damage is unmatched.
