Today was supposed to be an amazing day.

It’s the day that Rebel News publishes Tamara Lich’s passionate autobiography, “Hold the Line: My Story from the Heart of the Freedom Convoy.”

It’s an amazing book, chock full of new details about the trucker convoy that have never been reported before.

We’ve all heard Justin Trudeau’s side of the story. Now it’s time we learned what really happened, told by the woman at the heart of it all. There are important new details — including about her atrocious treatment in jail and the abusive prosecutor with a vendetta against her.

It truly is a great book, beautifully written by a Canadian patriot.

But even before we officially launched the book, Trudeau’s Liberals activists were smearing it, trying to drag it down.

They went on Amazon.ca and started writing awful book reviews. But of course they haven’t read the book yet — it literally went on sale just minutes earlier. But they started giving it 1-star reviews.

They did this to try to scare off Canadians from buying the book. But even worse, they did this to mess with Amazon’s algorithms.

See, if a lot of people give a book a good review, Amazon will promote that book and show it as a suggestion to more people. But if a lot of people give a book a bad review, Amazon will do the opposite — they’ll hide the book and won’t suggest it, even to people searching for books about the trucker convoy.

One anonymous reviewer wrote,

“Terribly written… convoluted, all over the map… very warped perspective… don’t bother. Poorly written..didn’t get through it”.

But that’s a lie.

The book is beautifully-written and the story is told vividly. But like I say, the book literally went on sale today, no-one could have even read it today. This is just spin by Trudeau’s war-room.

That’s why I need your help.

I’d like you to do three things right now, please:

1. Buy the book and read it for yourself.

2. Once you’ve read the book, give it a legitimate book review.
Tell the truth about it. (I’m pretty sure you’re going to love it, but I’ll let you decide that.)

The good news is Amazon labels book reviews by people who have actually bought the book differently than reviews written by people who haven’t bought the book. So hopefully legitimate reviews will dilute the fake ones.

3. Help us fight Trudeau’s smear machine by crowdfunding a grassroots marketing campaign
There is no way the CBC will review this book. They won’t even review it just to trash it — because they know that would spread the word about the book, and people would buy it just to spite the CBC.

They’re going to pretend this book doesn’t exist. Which is exactly how they treated the trucker convoy at first: they simply ignored it, and hoped it would go away. Only later did they attack it.

Don’t expect it to be reviewed in the Toronto Star or Globe and Mail’s book sections; I bet they won’t even allow it on their bestseller lists, either. So we can’t rely on normal book marketing.

We have to do it grassroots style — by word of mouth, with billboards, with Tamara doing Zoom interviews with online media, and with an old-fashioned book tour! (That’s going to be amazing.)

Trudeau’s activists are trying to smear the truckers all over again by making false reviews of Tamara’s book. They’re trying to make the book look bad and to interfere with Amazon’s algorithm.

P.S. As you will read in Hold the Line, Trudeau’s prosecutors censored Tamara by putting bail conditions on what she was allowed to say. It truly wouldn’t surprise me if they tried to arrest her for daring to publish her autobiography. That’s how much they hate Tamara and the truckers. (By the way, of course, we ran the book by lawyers first and we will defend her at all costs).
