JON RAPPAPORT : A DOZEN THOUGHTS ON THE TRUMP INDICTMENT
It’s easy to get over saturated with Trump Analysis. BUT…this is short and sweet and to the point ( note” Rappaport has been critical of Trump’s Support of Covid Vaxxs hence his consclusion.
Most Notable :
SEVEN: Forget the trial and even the possible conviction. The multiple APPEALS to higher courts could drag on for a decade. That’s a turd sitting in a punch bowl at a party that seems like it’s never going to end.

ONE: If Trump were a Democrat, none of this would be happening.
TWO: If Bill Clinton were Trump, he’d be in prison now. Money scandals surrounding the Clinton Foundation. Perjuring himself under oath when he denied having sex with Monica Lewinsky. Money he paid out to Paula Jones. The complex web of the long Clinton body count, reaching back into his Arkansas days.
THREE: This opens the door to future prosecutions of future Presidents of both Parties. Might not seem like a bad thing…but you can be sure these prosecutions will never delve into the most serious crimes Presidents commit.
FOUR: Major news networks whose ratings have been in the toilet are popping champagne corks. They have a new Trump story. They’ll squeeze every possible drop of juice out of it, for as long as they can.
FIVE: Everyone and his brother who believe the story they’re tracking is the biggest and most important story on the planet will say the Trump indictment is PLANNED to DISTRACT from their story. In this case, the Trump story WILL minimize the importance of dozens of vital stories. “I thought 4000 probable terrorists coming up through the southern border was a horrible crisis. But somehow, Trump being indicted…now the terrorists feel cooled down and Trump seems very hot…”
SIX: Is it possible the actual trial could be held over until after the 2024 election? Because if not, and Trump winds up in prison, I have no doubt he would run for the Presidency from a jail cell. Now THAT story would obliterate coverage of the moon coming loose from its orbit and heading directly to Earth.
SEVEN: Forget the trial and even the possible conviction. The multiple APPEALS to higher courts could drag on for a decade. That’s a turd sitting in a punch bowl at a party that seems like it’s never going to end.
EIGHT: Hundreds, maybe thousands of lawyers are hustling and angling to get face time on TV to comment on the case. It’s going to be wall to wall lawyers. Yesterday, CNN dragged John Dean, Nixon’s attorney, out of the shadows. Where’s Clarence Darrow?
NINE: Television is going to give us dozens and dozens of sidebars on the case. Tabloid stuff. This is where the Democrats may be heading. They’re looking for “hooker in a hotel room” or “massage therapist who claims he”. That’s the Super Bowl touchdown pass they’re looking for.
TEN: They want to goad Trump into saying something outrageous. They know he’s capable when provoked. Something like, “I should’ve shot those bastards when I was President.” Incitement, incitement, insurrection, insurrection.
ELEVEN: Speaking of goading, can the FBI use their undercover assets to push some group of loons over the edge into violent action against some Democrat?
TWELVE: Democrat operative: “Listen up, people. Every insane thing folks on the Left have been saying and doing since Biden took office? This is our chance to override all that with Trump. We have to make it seem HIS actions outweigh the tonnage of our lunacy. Don’t blow this. It’s what we’ve been waiting for.”
In case you’re relatively new to my work, I have written much about the big crimes of Donald Trump, vis-à-vis the COVID fraud. The crimes he will never admit to, even if he were standing in front of a firing squad. What we’re looking at now, in New York—whatever it is, it’s the small stuff.
