Question to Sir Farmer
Today I got into an argument with Sir Nightingale, who is borderline violating Sir Fully’s rules.
I also believe he doesn’t care to reply and point out the flaw in my question/reasoning.
So, Sir Farmer, next I ask you politely: what kind of rate of inflation is used to show the “inflation adjusted price of gold” in this chart? Do you read my drift? It may be a nice chart, but does it reflect the right inflation rate? We have been mislead on CPI over the last 3 decades if not more.

Trying to figure it all out and hoping to somehow profit from it
Lets stay in the happy zone
Understood.
You will have to research the Macrotrends website to find the information on how they calculate the inflation rate for their proprietary charts. The charts are not mine Gold Learner but I have found them to be very helpful from time to time. Sorry I am a bit busy today. But sure you will get your answer from the people who make the data.
Cool.
