Hey….if they start landing troops in England, France, Italy and Germany, imagine how many billions defending all of Europe will cost. Each of those countries is within Russian missile striking distance. I know money printers work at hypersonic speed these days, but do the brainiacs understand that Russian missiles work at hypersonic speed as well? That is to say, wherever in Europe America drops off thousands of troops, they can be disintegrated in moments. It’s going to be difficult amassing an invasion force. That’s especially true when one considers that the aircraft carriers bringing all that firepower to bear, will be sunk hundreds of miles from their destinations, by some other version of Russian hypersonic missiles. Our guys are nuts!
Just to make it simple: Russian missile technology is decades ahead of ours. That’s their offence! Russian air defence systems are decades ahead of ours. That’s their defence! Aircraft and ships are only good for frightening small counties now! Missiles, and missile defence are paramount. Diplomacy is our best option, and we’re not too good at that either.
