Corporate media and social media were blazing again yesterday afternoon, this time with news of two more unidentified objects shot down by the U.S. military: one over Alaska and one over Canada. All the news is hot takes, everyone’s speculating about the who, what, and why questions, with the two most popular options being either more Chinese spy balloons or UFO aliens.
The Hill ran a story late yesterday evening headlined, “What We Know About the ‘Unidentified’ Objects Shot Down Over North America.” The bottom line is the military isn’t saying much. What we know for sure is:
— The objects have not been identified.
— They were smaller than the War Blimp, about car-sized.
— They were floating around 40,000 feet, at the top of commercial airline space.
— The Alaskan object did not appear maneuverable; John Kirby said it was at the “mercy of prevailing winds” (unlike the War Blimp).
— The military is “attempting” to recover the wreckage near Deadhorse, Alaska, so that it can be analyzed.
That’s it. Montana Governor Greg Gianforte tweeted last night at 9:30pm that he’d just been briefed by the White House about what sounded like ANOTHER object over that state.

The military seems to be on high alert. Yesterday, NORAD temporarily closed the commercial airspace over Montana, but at 9:28pm reported it was just a false alarm and lifted restrictions. The Governor didn’t seem reassured though, or maybe like he hadn’t been briefed by NORAD.
And that’s it, that’s all we know, or maybe I should say, that’s all they’re telling us. The military has not released any video images of the new objects whatsoever. And to my knowledge, no reporter has asked for video evidence.
So, what should we think about all this? Is it a distraction? The prelude to an attack by the Chinese? An alien invasion? Gee, if it IS the aliens, we might want to figure out their pronouns before we shoot them down, so we don’t make this into a hate crime or something.
Anyway, let’s try to avoid speculation and focus on what we know. There are a couple noteworthy facts.
First, the only reason we know about all three now-defunct aircraft — whatever they are — is because the military told us. They could’ve kept these incidents classified. They didn’t have to say anything. Especially lately, what with everything going on in the world these days, the military has been extremely tight-lipped. It’s quite surprising they’ve been so proactive about reporting these particular “objects” and “radar anomalies.”
In other words, it’s different, and different is should get our attention. It’s like the military WANTS us to know all about these objects.
Second, corporate media is ALL OVER the “unidentified objects” story, with widespread reports mirroring the social media discussion. For example, CNN speculated about an extra-terrestrial origin for the two new objects, airing unverified anonymous reports from fighter pilots claiming they couldn’t identify the “objects,” and saying their electronics acted squirrelly around them.

Here’s some more UFO speculation in corporate media:

On the other hand, Fox News is leaning into the “more Chinese war balloons” angle

These days, it seems safe to assume that a government actor is sitting behind anything that corporate media goes big with. So both the military and corporate media want the story to get wide coverage. The fact that the objects are “unidentified” is what drives this story. If they said, “they were small balloons,” everybody would say Biden is just shooting stuff down to make the Administration look effective, and the attention would stay on the mishandled war blimp story.
But since the objects are “unidentified,” and “flying” (or at least, floating), and since they’re “objects,” you have a story ripe to go viral. And are enough, social media is filling up with amateur video of other unidentified flying objects, in essence creating an alien invasion, at least online.
Third, the Canadians are involved in this somehow. And in particular, Canada’s awful Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau is smack dab in the middle of it:

But … I’ve seen nothing explaining WHY the U.S. is patrolling Canadian airspace or why Canada didn’t shoot the object down for itself. Why call in the U.S.? Is there some kind of treaty at work? Are we billing the Canadians for this? I suspect a fighter-jet attack could get pretty expensive.
So let us not become distracted from the real stories that the Administration would rather not talk about. I’ll keep an eye on the skies for you though, and let you know if there’s anything to worry about. Meanwhile, you see what you can come up with in the pronouns department.
I think they could be some smaller balloons sent up by the public to stir the pot or perhaps pre-sale flag events to get the public angry at China and maybe they will shoot down a pretend Russian Mig to get the sheeple roaring. It stinks for sure and I smell a rat.
Chinese authorities are reportedly preparing to shoot down an “unidentified flying object” spotted in the skies near the eastern Shandong Province.
Goldballoon…Stay Grounded for a bit….Please
But… but… but…
