Loading ...Any TA on Google?
If charts determine events, what was the TA “tell” in GOOG chart, prior to today’s big decline? If a PM junior falls even 20%, it is no big deal, but GOOG falling 8% in a day is no ordinary event.
Where is it headed in the short and medium term?

GL, I don’t follow GOOG closely but since you asked, I looked at the chart. The stock had two gaps up recently. The first after closing above the 50day mvg. avg and the second gap took it over the 200 day mvg. avg. Adding in that it was overbought for a while and the MACD was ready to turn down so it is not suprising it is now in a correction. I would expect it to fill the gap around 95 which is aprox. the 50 day mvg. All normal action and nothing to worry about yet. Will have to see how it trades after that.
PS:Charts don’t determine events. However they often reflect what is going to happen in the future because there are always people who have information before everyone else and act on that information which gets reflected in the price action.ie the chart.
