   I think Musk has strategically allied himself with Republicans to protect himself from the Democrat justice department. Pretty shrewd move if you ask me. Dems love to show how tough they are, which is why even very powerful interests cave to them. Elon has taken a different tack, no doubt infuriating Democrats.
