Yesterday, I went for a long cross-country ski. You might say it was golden day, even though everything was blue and white. Regardless, it was definitely very cool! Here’s a link to photos:

Were you on Back-Country Nordic equipment or regular Classic skis? Skins?
Thanks. For the past few decades, I’ve been skiing with the same basic equipment, with minor upgrades. My norm, including this day, is 3-pin with Karhu XCD no-wax skis. The old school set-up suits me perfectly. I sometimes use the same type skis but with NNN BC bindings.
There on the mountain stood the ghosts of trees long past; specters both strange and wonderful.
The prose seems so familiar and friendly, as if I know -or should know- them, but I don’t know of an historic source. Are the lines yours, original? Nice and easy, whoever.
