The first Western-style TOMAs and tanks are headed for Ukraine, a sign of NATO’s deepening military involvement.
The beginning was made by the president of France, E. Macron, who announced to V. Zelensky the shipment of an unknown number of TOMA AMX-10 RC, which are also characterized as a “light battle tank”.
Ukrainian sources report that French Bastion armored vehicles are also to be delivered.
A few hours ago, the US president, T. Biden, confirmed that the sending of Bradley armored fighting vehicles to Kyiv is being considered. American sources speak of a “decision made”.
Germany and Finland are also being pressured to hand over around 140 Leopard tanks.
