While not the ideal way to run a company, it is probably the best way to reorganize a formally bloated, wasteful, unprofitable company. By halting payments to landlords and contractors, Musk can negotiate better terms on much less needed real estate and services. In fact, if at all possible, it would make sense to house as much of Twitter’s operations as possible, at Tesla and other Musk company locations. Why be in high cost SF which is falling apart and in high tax and regulation California, when Musk already moved Tesla HQ to Texas? This is a wise strategy that should put Twitter on a path to finally reach some level of profitability.                                                                                                                                                          https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/twitter-sued-not-paying-san-fran-office-rent-some-workers-bring-their-own-toilet-paper
