Given what we now know about the government, especially the FBI(our equivalent of the Gestapo, KGB or Stasi)working directly with social media, while they have been exposed and neutralized on Twitter by Elon, how about all the other platforms? They are never going to admit their complicity themselves, so the new House investigations need to take steps to expose and neutralize any continuous efforts by the administration particularly the FBI from getting away with this crap. It has to come up with legislation that will hit them where it hurts, in the bottom line, and not just slap on the wrist fines like the banks pay every time they get caught breaking the law. It needs to be substantial, not just a small cost of doing, business as usual. They need to threaten them with disgorgement of media platforms from the parent company and using RICO statutes that lead to substantial penalties. It is great and enlightening that Musk has exposed what Twitter has done but now comes the hard part of stopping it elsewhere and making sure it is a thing of the past.
