CALGARY, Alberta (LifeSiteNews) – The head of WestJet, Canada’s second-largest airline, says Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s travel COVID vaccine mandates should be “dropped” right away.
WestJet CEO Alexis von Hoensbroech tweeted yesterday, “Vaccine mandate for air travellers and employees needs to be dropped.”
“As vaccines are not preventing the spreading of the virus since #omicron, there is no more logic to maintain it. This will also relax some of the operational challenges at the airports.”
You would think people like Alexis would understand by now.
This has NOTHING to do with science and rational policy.
Does anyone else find it “annoying” that after all this time, presumably bright people are still posturing in the public sphere based on a LOGICAL BASED analysis of public policymaking? Are they THAT dim? You find that among 20 somethings, but not older folks that have been around the block and honed their critical thinking skills.
Oh, he probably knows it has nothing to do with science and rational thought. But he has to say that in order to convince the dingbats who still think it does.
OR he is looking for the Westjet BoD to exercise an early termination clause so that he can walk away with mega $$$$ and spend the last few months before armageddon at the cottage! Perhaps he senses that all airlines will die in sync with the next worldwide lockdowns………
