Putin etc.
Goldballoon, I can’t do any better than Danx’s post at 11:44 am. He is a Ukrainian. He is has lived close to Putin. If Putin wants to restore a “moral and religious” order to Russia, he should first read the Bible. It states clearly “Thou shall not kill.” It doesn’t say, however you can kill if you are a leader of a country and you want to restore “moral” tradition. Putin has murdered and murdered as Danx points out. He is the other side of the coin to the WEF tyranny. I wouldn’t want to live in a world where either the WEF or Putin had control. Or the CCP. Or Iran. Both of which are friends of Putin. Our struggle is to establish a government on this earth that is neither a Western nor an Eastern dictatorship. Our struggle is to do away with tyrants. This might be beyond the capacity of humans and perhaps the Bible is right again when it prophecies that only divine intervention will bring peace on earth.
Thanks for your response, North. At the core, it seems we are in agreement. Where our views seem to differ is on the surface, in that your finger seems always to be pointed in only one direction as to who is most wrong and responsible (i.e. even with who is killing and murdering most), along with the understanding that your rulers are better because you think you have real freedom. Since you refer to the Bible, then I’m sure you don’t actually believe Putin’s sins are any worse than the sins of the leaders you have not pointed your accusing finger towards.
The Bible gives wonderfully clear guidance on how to be, including the following:
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
When I say the WEF, I do mean leaders like Trudeau, Macron, Biden, and the rest who are responsible for attacks against other countries without sufficient reason, and for deaths caused by Covid policies like the suppression of Ivermectin for treatment. And I am not the ultimate judge of anyone. But to say nothing about murders that you see is also a judgment. I think the death camps of World War 11 proved that. I don’t believe that Putin is any more responsible for the mess in world than the WEF and its adherents. Thank you for the dialogue, Goldbaloon. I think we need a lot more conversations and less name-calling.
And thank you, North, for the way you choose to interact, which is much appreciated.
Those who act like tyrants on any level suck the energy from any and all who enter into the fight, taking any side. Instead of focusing on what we don’t want, our energy is best used in focusing it on what we do want, intentionally focusing on how we do want to be.
Agree or disagree, my problem with F&F is often that they won’t even engage in discussion or debate.
Let it not be said that this site doesn’t accommodate that. It surely does. On markets, on geo, on science.
You don’t get anywhere if you don’t allow your views to never be challenged.
Personally, I’d like to see eastern Ukr split off, allow western Ukr to look west if it wants, and then find a way for both sides to accept that and not agitate for a rewrite using weapons.
F&F?
Frick & Frack ???
Friends and Family
Two comical charaters in the long, long ago. 🙂
When they don’t talk and demonize each other it only proves that they both want total control. But that is exactly the tyrant’s personality. They will not accept any questions about what they believe and what they are doing. Trudeau started showing that when he wouldn’t allow Rebel News into press briefings. Thankfully, a decent judge slapped him down twice. Dialogue allows movement toward truth, and the truth is often found in the middle ground between the extremes. The whole Covid thing was an exercise in not listening to the other side.
Fuckin Fauci!
